Beacon Bingo gets the X-Factor - Online Bingo News

Stacey Solomon, the singer who was expected to win the last The X-Factor series, spent the last weekend entertaining 1200 customers at Beacon Bingo in Cricklewood, North London, as part of the club’s What A Weekend bingo promotion. Her entry caused quite a commotion in the bingo hall as audience rushed to her, mobile phone cameras in hand, to be photographed with the singer.

Stacey sang four of her favourite songs from the X-Factor show and ended the performance with her rendition of Who Wants to Live Forever. She continued entertaining the audience by calling the last game of bingo. Stacey was supposed to just call the one line but enjoyed it so much that she ended up calling the entire bingo game. One lucky winner took home a weighty bingo jackpot of £1,000 that night.

Stacey then teamed up with Beacon Cricklewood manager Paul Cooke for a Q&A session; when asked if she would ever consider being a bingo caller as a profession she exclaimed that given her performance that night, she didn’t see that as a possibility!

Stacey then shared her experiences at the X-Factor TV show with the crowed and said that her greatest moments were working with Dannii Minogue and singing with Michael Bublé. She also recalled funny moments during the show when some children were brought to the show and sat on the judges’ seats. “I said to Simon (Cowell) they can judge, they’re better than you. Then I thought oh no what have I done, he can rid of me! He’s a big softy really,” she said.

In a sombre moment, Stacey revealed that her biggest hero was her mother; “Love my Mum – what would I do without her?” she said as the audience applauded. Stacey was then presented with a bouquet of flowers and was once again surrounded with eager bingo players taking their last pictures with her.

Beacon has six bingo halls across the UK and only recently launched their very own online bingo site, Beacon Bingo.
