Wink Bingo launched its newest TV advert in March, and we're taking a peek behind the scenes to see what went into the making of this online bingo TV commercial.

The new Wink Bingo TV advert is called Celebrate, and portrays a regular female playing bingo in her pyjamas at home. Enjoying a mug of tea she's seated in front of her laptop then freezes in shock as she realises she's just won a bingo jackpot. Shock turns into ecstacy at her win, and her mood turns euphoric.

She is so happy that she starts dancing, and gets so carried away in her joy that she dances up the walls and across the ceiling in elation, and then down the other wall without missing a step.

Special effects company Artem designed and constructed an entire room that could be rotated 360 degrees, complete with a special camera and 35mm lenses to perfect the illusion that the bingo player is dancing on the ceiling.

The dance was inspired by a Fred Astaire routine and is performed by actress and dancer, Jenny Dale, in glorious pink pyjamas. The choreography was done by Stephen Mears, who has many music videos and TV commercials to his credit.

Spacebar Media has been handling the ad campaigns for Wink Bingo since the online bingo site launched just over a year ago. Deviating from the earlier series of humourous and wacky online bingo related situations, the media company opted to focus on the feel good factor of the online bingo experience at Wink Bingo.

Creative Director Michael Zucker believes that “Winkbingo.com is synonymous with winning and celebration,” and the concept for the advert was based on this. The message to the audience is clear: it's fun and exciting to play online bingo games at Wink Bingo.

This latest Wink Bingo TV advert will be on air until the beginning of June, and can also be viewed at the Wink Bingo website.
