Chartwell secures German online gambling deal - Online Bingo News

Canadian online gambling software developer Chartwell Technology has successfully clinched a deal with Spielbanken Niedersachsen GmbH (SNG) to provide the software for the Lower Saxony gambling monopoly’s new online casino.

There is no word at the time of writing whether or not Spielbanken Niedersachsen will include online bingo games or an online bingo hall as part of its new online casino operation.

German states recently voted to implement a state-wide gambling monopoly policy which would see private online gaming operators restricted from accessing the German market.  Bingo online is not a major market in Germany though Austrian gaming giant Bwin does operate an online bingo option and is currently taking court action against the German state’s decision to facilitate a monopoly.
