In keeping with a growing trend in acquisitions within the online gaming industry, Australian gaming firm Tattersalls has bought Macquarie Bank's 50% stake in the European Gaming Group. Tattersalls now has full ownership.
European Gaming Group was formed as a joint venture between Tattersalls and Macquarie Bank to purchase UK gambling company Talarius for GBP 142 million.
