ATE and River City Group merged - Online Bingo News

River City group and ATE have been merged into a single outfit now called Clarion Gaming. The move became effective as of September 10, about a year after conference production company Clarion Events acquired both companies.

ATE is known for producing the London-bsed ICE and ICEi exhibitions and other conference-style events. River City Group is responsible for the Global Interactive Gaming Summit and Expo (GIGSE), World Poker Congressand I-Gaming InDepth conferences.

Online bingo industry observers will know of each company’s key trade publications such as IGaming News, Betting Business, and Casino Review.  Each publication is a mainstay in the online gaming and bingo online industries.

The Managing Director of Clarion Events, Simon Kimble said in commenting on the merger: "We made these two strategic purchases to get a foothold in serving the global gaming industry. We expect, as these two companies integrate, that they will form a dynamic foundation allowing us to assemble yet more key gaming industry event and publication companies in various regions of the world."
