Bingo TV advertising campaign about to be launched - Online Bingo News

The UK’s National Bingo Association will be launching a £3.8 million advertising campaign for its new 'Big N' game.

The campaign centers on a large bingo dabber leaving a mark on different types of items to signify the value of the jackpot.  The campaign will be featured on television, in the press, assorted magazines and will also have an online application.

In another innovation the campaign will feature ‘bingo bus stops’ in the cities of Manchester and Glasgow in which LEC screens will display updates on the latest jackpot amount.

The TV campaign is to take place on ITV1, Channel 4, Five and digital channels.

Henry Dalglish, group business director for the National Bingo Association’s ad agency BLM says: "The new Gambling Act has enabled National Bingo Game Association to offer a totally new game that will compete with the lottery.

"The scale of this launch reflects the importance of the bingo industry of The Big ‘N. The campaign sees a number of media firsts and creativity that will create a real buzz about The Big ‘N."

The National Bingo Association does not offer free bingo online or run any online bingo halls. However, it does represent the first major bingo-related advertising effort to take advantage of the UK’s newly relaxed gambling laws.
