They say “third time lucky” and we’re hoping that’s true for Paul McCartney as he gets married for the third time. His third wife, the lovely heiress Nancy Shevell, looked blissful as the newly wedded couple emerged from a relatively simple ceremony at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in Central London. Incidentally, this is the same place Paul married Linda all those years ago. Let’s hope that brings this marriage a whole lot of good luck!
The happy couple proceeded to their home in St John’s Woods and partied on till the wee hours of the morning. Among guests were fellow Beatle Ringo Starr, Ronnie Wood, David Gilmour, and even George Harrison’s widow, Olivia.
