The venue was as far removed from a bingo hall as possible; it was the very swanky Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London and Gary shelled out a minor fortune to pay for the do as well put up his mates in for the night. Sigh! Wish I had friends like that!

A source told the Sun newspaper, "Where Gary finds the time to organise everything is unbelievable. He spent a lot of money to make sure Dawn had a party to remember, treating her to a couple of nights in the hotel's most luxurious suite. All their closest pals were there to enjoy it.”

Gary hosted the bingo, called out the numbers himself and made sure that bingo cards and dabbers were on all his guests’ tables and it did not take too long before everyone was completely involved in the game. The lucky winners were Beverley Knight, Denise Van Outen and Cheryl Cole who all got a full house.

All the money that was raised playing bingo that evening went to Gary’s charity of choice Barnado's. Things got very emotional when his Take That band mates, Howard and Mark got up and made a speech for Gary and Dawn with not a dry eye in the bingo room.
