Popular online bingo site Gala Bingo recently conducted a nationwide survey with an interesting question: If luck was a lady, what would she look like? Is anyone surprised that Cheryl Cole topped the list?
The results for the Top Ten Lady Luck Gala Bingo survey results were as follows: 1st - Cheryl Cole, 2nd - Holly Willoughby, 3rd - Susan Boyle, 4th - Alesha Dixon, 5th - Stacey Solomon, 6th - Coleen Nolan, 7th - Anne Widdecome, 8th - Katie Price, 9th - Kim Woodburn, 10th - Jane Danson.
BBC3’s psychologist Felix Economakis spoke to Gala Bingo about luck and how a positive mental attitude helps bringing about good luck; bingo players, take note! “Undoubtedly all of the top 10 have a really positive mental attitude, which is a key component to inviting luck into your life.
“Having a positive mind set will enable you to keep an open mind, grab any opportunities should they arise and keep you looking on the bright side when bad things do happen. Therefore by adopting a positive approach we can all be luckier in 2010, regardless of our personal talents.”
Playing bingo is all about luck and Cheryl Cole has certainly had her fair share of good luck. Rising to fame in 2002 with the ITV’s reality show Popstars: The Rivals, the Girls Aloud singer then took part in The X Factor; she is currently the face of L’Oreal and was voted the “Sexiest Woman in the World” in a poll in 2009.
