The First Lady of America, Michelle Obama, bless her socks, treated her two daughters to a slap-up pub dinner of gloriously English fish & chips yesterday.
The last time the Obama's hit the headlines in the same breath as bingo, the President's step-mother opened a brand new online bingo game called Mrs Obama's Bingo.
Although no bingo this time around, after attending the D-Day ceremonies the President has now flown back home alone, and the rest of his family are staying on a little longer in London to sample the delights of the local cuisine.
A fish and chip dinner in a pub is not the place you'd expect the Obama's to dine out, but Michelle is obviously determined to go the regular tourist route and get a real taste of life in the UK.
Earlier yesterday Michelle and her two young daughters were entertained at Downing Street and also toured the Houses of Parliament, what better way to end the day than a fish and chips dinner at the Audley pub in Mayfair! Have to wonder if she ordered a pint of bitter to wash it down!
I'd have loved to have been a fly on the wall in the pub, apparently the staff had no advance warning, suddenly the doors opened and in walks the First Lady of the USA with her family and the Secret Service bodyguards in tow - WTG!!!
The Obama's still have a couple of days in London, more than enough time to host an online bingo chatroom session - after all, her step-mum in law did invent Mrs Obama Bingo! What a scoop it would be for any online bingo hall to invite her to chat, us bingo fans would go crazy, I know that for a fact!
