So it seems Angelina Jolie could be up for the Catwoman role. Even though a script has not been written yet to cash in on the current Batman blockbuster, speculation abounds in Hollywood as to who will be tapped to play whatever Batman villain pops up in the third movie. But the real question should be: How about Angelina Jolie to play online bingo? Er,... Okay...
Jolie has received a ringing endorsement as the possible and only real choice for the Catwoman role from none other than former Catwoman Julie Newmar who played the feline fiend in the camp 1960s Batman TV series.
“Angelina would own the part. My industry friends tell me she has already made enquiries about the role. I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman’s one true love.”
Newmar added about the Catwoman character: “She’s tremendously popular with women because she’s both a heroine and a villainess.”
I’ve got news for Ms Newmar: Online bingo is also tremendously popular with women. In fact, Catwoman learning to play bingo online is a sure hit –forget about the guy in the silly Bat suit! Catwoman, the Riddler and the Penguin could form their own online bingo team with Britney Spears as the Penguin and Paris Hilton as the Riddler. What A twist! Unfortunately Hollywood will probably never see the potential in this.
