Online Casino Grand Prive Closes their Online Casino Affiliate Program
Online casino, Grand Privé have closed their gambling affiliate program. While this move was somewhat expected, it was not at all surprising since Microgaming pulled out all their United States player-accepting casinos.
While the move was not a surprise, the next expected step was that the casinos would close their gaming sites down. Bella Vegas, Casino Grand Bay, Jupiter Club and a number of other casinos are all owned by Grand Privé. While the affiliate programs have been shut down, the online casino part of these sites is still up and running and are showing no signs of shutting down at this time.
This move has left the members of the, now defunct, casino affiliate program up in arms as Grand Privé operated casinos are still profiting from the player base and the business brought to them by these ex-affiliates.
APCW provides much information and a voice for those who need it in the online gambling industry, and also represent many affiliate managers, webmasters, players and various casino programs. The agency is now condemning Grand Privé for this calculated business move. They have gone as far as posting a video on YouTube, in which their Executive Director, J. Todd, discusses the case.
Todd has said that the announcement that the affiliate program was to be shut down was sent out through email. While the casino affiliates waited for the other gaming brands to follow Microgaming's departure, this did not happen. Todd stated that Grand Privé are dumping their partners and running away with the profits. Todd also noted that all the Grand Privé sites are licensed by Kanawake, are powered by Microgaming, and all bear the eCogra badge.
Todd explained that all attempts to contact Grand Privé have been unsuccessful as they have not responded to being contacted by anyone connected to the affiliate program in any form. The APCW and J. Todd have been in contact with Microgaming, eCogra and Kanawake and are awaiting their responses to this issue.
