New bingo affiliates partnership for 888 bingo sites

888 Holdings, the owner and operator of several popular online bingo sites including 888Ladies and 888 Bingo and more recently Wink Bingo and Posh Bingo, has entered a partnership agreement with bingo affiliates network Ignite Bingo to promote two of its online bingo brands.

Launched in 2009, the Gibraltar based Ignite Bingo is a performance based bingo affiliate marketing network which, prior to the 888 tie-up supported UK’s largest free bingo site, Costa Bingo. The new agreement will see Ignite managing the affiliate business for both 888Bingo and 888Ladies. No mention has yet been made whether Wink Bingo or Posh Bingo will later be included.

Ignite Bingo director Christian Colton said: “We hope that the 888 brands are the first of many major bingo rooms to launch with us in Q2 2010.”  He may have a point. Should the deal with Ignite work well, in all probability, other bingo sites will follow suit, given the competitive nature of the online bingo world.

888 Holdings is one of the few big names in the business that is totally debt free and on a continuous run of expansion. While other companies are either trying to shed dead weight in terms of unprofitable bingo halls or frantically trying to come up with new marketing strategies to promote their bingo sites, 888 boss Gigi Levy recently hinted at negotiations with both a ‘smaller’ and a ‘larger’ company.

This has caused several bingo news portals to speculate that Mr. Levy is referring to Ignite Bingo in his vague reference to the smaller acquisition, however no facts visibly support this as yet. For the moment at least, Ignite Bingo is simply a bingo affiliate network that has aquired an important new business partner.

Given the huge success of Costa Bingo in its partnership with this bingo affiliate, it stands to reason that plenty of new bingo business lies in store for both the 888ladies and 888 Bingo sites.
