Bingo Affiliates and Google PPC

The recent opening up of pay per click by the search giant Google to Bingo Affiliates is a bit of a mixed blessing really. The move which ensures that Google generates extra revenues means that bingo affiliates who have been spending enormous amounts of time optimising bingo portals now how have to compete with Bingo Operators and other Bingo Affiliates who might have vast budgets.
If we do a quick analysis of the keyword online bingo we note that of the 11 pay per click positions available there does not appear to be a single bingo affiliate advertisement there. This effectively means that the Bingo operators have upped the bid rate to a level that ensures it makes it prohibitive for bingo affiliate to operate. This is obviously good news for Google but is it good news for Bingo players. If we take a quick snapshot of the advertisements we note that there are advertisements for William Hill Casino and Casino Riva. Now correct me if I am wrong but is the keyword here online bingo?
The other issue for Bingo Affiliates is that most programs will directly prohibit the use of their brand terms in their bingo affiliate terms and conditions. So where does this leave the bingo affiliate.
It certainly leaves the SEO Bingo affiliates out of pocket, after conforming to all of Google requirements they now have to compete in the PPC arena which is a different type of discipline altogether.
