Bingo affiliate spam

What is Bingo Affiliate Spam? Well there are the usual mailers that go out to bingo players who have not subscribed but in this instance I am talking about a Bingo Affiliate program that continually sends out emails to bingo site owners telling them about the benefits of joining the program.
It starts off with the greeting – Hi Bingo Affiliates. Nice bit of personalization there and it is guaranteed to engender feelings of warmth and co operation. I think not.
The email goes on to list a variety of reasons as to why you should promote Golden Games bingo. None of these reasons are new to Bingo affiliates and your email which has been sent to me 300 times is extremely annoying. Why do people think that this kind of thing will work? The widespread use of just blanket mailing people must work if the evidence is to be believed. We get Spam of all kinds from people who insist that they have the hottest product when actually they are simply a skin of some or other bingo room. Would it not be a better method to simply contact affiliates with a personal email. Maybe I am just an old fashioned kind of guy working in this industry.
A personal email with the offer of an exclusive or a co branded landing page or something for my bingo players rather than the stock standard ordinary will stand out from the crowd and I look after my bingo players. So that is the best way to get me to look at your product. Your hot marketing material and industry leading software is par for the course as far as I am concerned.
Golden Games bingo has not got off to a very good start with me and I will not be signing up to their affiliate program any time soon.
